BLASTERS ARE CHAMPIONS AT FAIRPORTS 16TH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT
The Blasters win the U15/U16 Red Girls Championship. In 4 games the Blasters Scored 20 goals and gave up 5, with all 5 coming in one game. The Blasters defeated two U16 teams with great ball movement that started from the defense. The girls found the Fairport U15 Galaxy to be a tough team. After a rough first halve in Saturday's game against the Galaxy the Blasters found themselves down 2-0 at halftime and 3 nothing within minutes into the second half. The Blasters could have easily packed it in but instead they battled back to tie the game but found themselves coming up short 5-4 in a game where the team showed what makes them different from the rest and that is the heart and drive to never quit. It worked out that the Blasters needed a win on Sunday to make it to the final game. They made sure that the points system was not going to be the reason we wouldn't be playing in the finals. So the girls put up 9 goals and allowed 0. With that win and a tie by Fairport it meant that they would meet up with Fairport again. In a hard fought game with great defense the Blasters ended up winning 1-0 to earn them another Championship this season. more also pics
RSSC Blasters to play U14 and U16 in local Camden Soccer Sensation Tournament on July 18th.
Blasters to play in a premier tournament on August 14 & 15 in Long Island NY.

Thruway League Season Ends:
Blasters finish Thruway league with a 3-1 win over Empire Rochester. The Blasters finish with a record of 7 W - 1 T - 1 L, on the season the Blasters scored 21 goals for and 10 against.
MSSL Soccer - writer emails Blasters Manager about putting an article in their newsletter which feature prominent teams and players and the Blasters are just that "Considering your Performance at the MSSL Explosion" More information to follow soon as well as the official newsletter.
"BLASTERS WIN NORTHSTARS 7 V 7 TOURNAMENT"
The Blasters send the U14 girls to play in the Northstars 7 v 7 tournament. The girls played in both the U14 and U15 groups. Little did they know that when they agreed to play they would have to play 6 hours straight of soccer. Yet that is what they did and they where great winning 12 straight games scored approx 40 goals and ONLY allowing 4 goals against them. The Blasters had alot of support from the parents as well as many spectators stopping to watch the girls play. It was a great tournament by all the girls involved and the Blasters made sure that all the teams will remember the Blasters for quite a while...
"Blasters win U15 MSSL tournament in NJ Memorial weekend"
The Blasters go 4W-0L-1T to become the U15G Champions at the MSSL Memorial Explosion. Those in attendance watched the girls come together and dominate some tough competition. The girls played great together and trusted on another making for a great weekend. An added bonus was attending the WPS Sky Blue Pro Women's Soccer game where our girls where ball girls, participated in the rally tunnel and then where allowed on the field during the teams cool downs to get a bunch of autographs and meet players.
