U14 Girls Champions at Wilson NY Soccer Tournament!

The Blasters traveled to Wilson NY (Niagara Falls area) to play in a U14 girls tournament. The Blasters went 4-0 with 28 goals for and 2 against making them the U14 girls champions. It was an amazing weekend for the girls both on and off the field. These girls came together at the perfect time showing the trust and confidence they have in each other. We had more shots on goal than I could count. With the passing and serving balls up we forced other teams to drop five defenders. Great job girls you where awesome this weekend!

Blasters finish as finalist!

The Blasters travel to Middlepath NY for the Northeast Summerslam to play in their first U15G tournament. They ended up falling just short of  first place on a tie breaker which ended up with the Blasters coming up one goal short. They finish with a record of 3-0-1. Our Blasters continue strong defense shutting out 3 out of the 4 teams while only giving up 4 goals and scoring 18 goals. The girls played great all weekend, playing against some teams that where strong and skilled. However the Blasters relied on each other and using teamwork, speed and skills to win and dominate several games. It was a great start to our new season as U15G and we look forward to a successful season coming up.
