Blasters win 5-2 on a wet day in Rochester. It was a great played game by the Blasters. The Blasters displayed great passing and the defense was outstanding. We had several shots on goal just missing several shots by inches. It was a great team effort by everyone. #6 A. Williams scored 3 goals, #1 H. Shankman added one as well as #14 E. Gubbins. June 6, 2009 RSSC vs CNY
The Blasters defeat CNY 3-2 in a very physical match. I was a great game by the Blasters who where playing short handed having only 2 subs for the game. With several of the players missing allot of the girls where asked to play several positions and a lot of minutes which some of the young girls are not used to. However they stepped up to the challenge battling every minute and working with each other. It was a game that I was truly proud of every player who played in the game.

May 9, 2009 RSSC vs SCSC (Elmira)
Blasters win 7-1 against the SCSC Renegade. A good defensive stand for the Blasters with several younger players stepping up on the defensive side. Offense got stronger as the game went on with more passes put together and several balls served up for heading and volley oppourtunities. Blasters had goals scored by #14 E Gubbins(2), #6 A Williams(3), #10 E Ward, and #16 B Heitz. It was a good game against a young SCSC team. Blasters will now get ready to take on some more experienced teams moving forward over the next month or so.
